Since I am vegan I regularly think about going fully raw for health reasons. All though I am on a plant-based diet doesn't mean I am on a healthy diet. Somehow I still eat too much junk food which isn't good in any diet and it doesn't help with weight loss either. Going on a plant based diet might do the trick. As I experienced during my juice fasts which are fully raw, my weight always goes down in a pretty impressive way.
But as soon as go back to cooked meals specially comfort food and junk food I always see my weight pic again and raising the scale to all-time highs. So obviously this doesn't cut it for me and I have to review my diet entirely.
I am following Fully Raw Kristina for years now and I also try to integrate more fully raw days into my diet but still doesn't make it for me. I love to eat and cook for family and friends and it is so difficult to cut it off my diet, all those delicious treats I prepare daily. Not to dig in seems impossible to me.
So just today I discovered this video from Tim Shieff where he is sharing his views and experiences he had going fully raw for 3 months now. Let's listen to what he has to say on that subject matter.

I would love to read your stories in the comment section below and start a discussion with you guys around going fully raw.
Thank you for your support here on Steemit - Steem On!
i think raw food diets are amazing for your health.. and anyone who has tried it knows how good you feel from it..
Personally i need some cooked food in my diet.. so i think 100% raw isnt for everyone.. Salads must be the easiest and most common raw foods.. but with some imagination you can come up with all kinds of ideas.
check out my vegan cheese recipe for example.. it is fermented and i would say raw since its not cooked at all.. and offers many great health benefits..

I think the raw diet has a lot to offer and people would do well to try and incorporate what they can into their existing diet. I prefer an additive approach. Don't get obsessed with dos and don't just try to add more good and the there will be less room for the bad. My own experiences with traditional medicines from India and china with their own unique perspective on foods and herbs have also helped me to understand WHY somethings just need to be cooked if they are to be consumed. What is the RAW approach to tea? Listening to the body is probably the best advice I've had... what works for one, doesn't work for all. As Krishnamurti once said "Truth is a pathless land." Nice article @michelrnilles ! upvoted and resteemed! cheers @ecoknowme

I agree with both of you :) Have been fully raw only for about 6 weeks now and loving it. Fully Raw Kristina has an amazing strawberry cheesecake recipe (of course it is fully raw). We made it, it turned out so delicious and it is HUGE - lasted about 2 weeks in the freezer :) By the way, I like hot filtered water with lemon and mint. Great post..SUNSHINE247

I have been drawn to Kristina's work also, but have not tried her recipes yet, will check out the cheesecake! I hear she changed the colour of her eyes through diet! Amazing!

I've only been vegan for a year now (started summer 2016). I have yet to try raw. Would love to do it but I have three other mouths to feed and when I tried to calculate our grocery for regular food and raw, for now I have to stay with cooked food. Maybe sometime end of this year I will start, although right now I would love to go on keto vegan first 😅
