I was expecting someone's answer like yours.

I simply put the irony of this flawed thinking out in the open. Take it or leave it.

I appreciate your compassion for animals btw :)

After some consideration, I'm back. Can you tell me where I am flawed in my thinking?

If plants feel pain and you want to minimise their suffering, veganism is still the best option as meat production requires far more plants to be grown and harvested to feed the animals than if we had just eaten the plants ourselves.

Is it time to concede or do you need further clarification?
