Good afternoon, Steemians!
I want to share with you all a very easy recipe for homemade vegan potato dumplings from scratch. Now, the preparation for this recipe is time consuming, but the reward of eating them outweigh this.
You Will Need:
One Potato
Carrots
Green spring onions
Cabbage
Flour
Water
Something to steam the dumplings in
I eyeballed the water to flour ratio, in hindsight the dough was a little stickier than it should've been and I would've added more flour before making the dumplings
Dice veggies very finely
Cut up and boil potato and then add to mix
Cut dough in equal portions, smaller than this even (mine came out too big so I halved them)
Use rolling pin to roll out a piece and put about a tablespoon of mixture in
Close it up using a fork or by other means
Voila!
Steam 20 minutes or so on a bed of cabbage leaves
Sauce is soy sauce, spring onions, and olive oil
These are a delicious meal if you have the patience to make them!

Reminds me of gnoccis. Delicious! Soy sauce is the best too!
