I'm not impressed at all with Valparaiso city (Chile) where I'm gonna stay for a month to wait until all the madness with Christmas vacations will settle down and work a bit in the meanwhile. But the day before yesterday I went to an insanely beautiful place not far from here (gonna go there again and again!!!) and today I went to one of the big local fruit/veggie markets. Yeh, it's way cheaper than in the supermarkets but there is more to that: many types of fruits and berries which in all tropical countries I lived within last 5 years are located in "exotic"section and cost like hell, here are super cheap! Wooohooo!!! Kilo of strawberries — 75 cents, nectarines — one dollar, sweet cherry — dollar and a half.
Yumm!!! Let a month of fruitarianism begin!
