Olahraga bersepeda kini mulai banyak diminati oleh masyarakat, sama halnya dengan Indonesia. Bahkan kini muncul sejumlah komunitas sepeda di setiap kota. Kini pecinta olahraga bersepeda, digemari oleh semua kalangan, termasuk para pejabat serta pengusaha sukses. Pasalnya bersepeda merupakan olahraga santai yang bermanfaat bagi kesehatan tubuh manusia.
Sebelumnya sepeda hanya ada di rumah dimana ada anak yang maaih kecil hingga remaja. Kini hampir setiap rumah, sudah ada sepeda yang digunakan untuk orang dewasa. Yakni digunakan untuk berolahraga pada saat libur, baik bersama keluarga maupun bersama komunitas. Selain baik bagi kesehatan, bersepeda bersama komunitaa juga mempererat tali silahturahmi tentunya.
Malah kini jenis, bentuk dan ukuran sepeda beraneka, sesuai kebutuhan dan juga daya beli. Olahraga bersepeda kini telah menjadi gaya hidup. Sejumlah instansi pemerintah, swasta tidak mau ketinggalan ikut menggalakkan olahraga bersepeda.

Dengan bersepeda tubuh akan lebih sehat, karena banyak lemak yang terbuang dari tubuh. Dan tubuh juga lebih aktif bergerak, mungkin itu alasan banyak orang yang menyukai bersepeda.
