Literally made-out of carved wood this wooden scooter is ifugao's province pride, with rider's wearing nothing but their popular ethnic bahag. It is mainly used to transport harvested crops and firewoods down from the highlands and mountains as quickly as possible they can.
Because of it's useful use, since then everyone is making their own wooden scooters.

In 1979 the province mayor decided to include the wooden scooter race activities in their very first "IMBAYAH FESTIVAL". It has been reported that some can reach speeds of up to 50 kph, "No Gas, No Electricity" with nothing but gravity propelling their scooters. GOOD FOR MOTHER NATURE!!
