This is my entry for #vehiclephotography by @juliank.
This 142.044 series steam locomotive is part of the Romanian national-cultural patrimony, included in the treasury category.
It was made in 1938 by Resita Factories and Fields, upon a licence bought from the Austrian Railways in 1936.
Started to function in 1939 and operated until 1970 when it was removed from service.
During 1970-2006 the locomotive functioned within the Railway Tourism Society as a tourist and an old time train.
It was called off for good in 2006.

These sizes make this connecting rod the biggest and heaviest cast rod for steam locomotive in Europe.
Maximum allowed speed: 110 km/h
Maximum designed speed: 140 km/h
When the performing test were made in Austria in 1936, an engine of this type reached the speed of 156 km/h, a speed record that never was broken by any other type of steam engine.
