The "yippee kai yay" R32

This week i had the opportunity to
interview Ken with his very nice and
clean build Nissan Skyline R32.
When someones tells you the word "Skyline" ,
the R32 is probably the first one to appear
in your mind as the iconic one!
As they say godzilla!!

Ken bought this car straight from Japan the end of 2012. Got it all imported to Belgium
and started to register it on plates.
Because its a car that was never produced in Europe , it takes some time to get all the paperwork done.
About a year later in 2013 the car was ready to get on the road!! The car was pretty stock when he bought it so it was more easy to import to Belgium and get on license plates.

His original plan was to search and buy a 180sx ,
but his dream was owning a skyline like alot among us.
In the times of his search for a 180sx back then he got offered a R32 GTS-t
with a price offer he could not refuse.
So at the age of 19 he was the lucky owner of this astonishing machine!

In March 2014 he had a severe setback with an accident to his car. The car was total loss!
And it was up to him to decide to keep the car or to get rid of it.

But being a real men he kept the car and spended alot of blood , sweat and tears to rebuild it in an even better condition then it was before. Even though some people told him to quit with the car and did not believe in it , he was determined to rebuild the R32! But with his own hands and the help of some friends hemanaged to get the car back on the road.

As you can see in the pictures , he managed to rebuild it pretty properly!

On a daily base he drives his Opel Insignia sports tourer. As he said himself "My R32 is an out of controle hobby" lol.

He is planning on getting the car on oldtimer plates in April 2018.
And will be installing his newest update for the 2k18 season,
his "Weds Maverick 709M" wheels!
