My City Kids went to the auto show yesterday and took lots of photos for us! They are in the market for a new car, and I suspect this may have got them into the mood to buy something. It got me in the mood to buy something, and I am no longer able to drive!
First staged in 1901, the Chicago Auto Show is the largest and longest running auto show in North America.
Since I am one of the least qualified people on earth to talk about cars, I'll just let you look through a few of the photos!
I liked this one of the guy diligently wiping finger prints off the Jag!

A lot of shiny cars ;) But I'm afraid most would be too shiny for my taste. Still, I wouldn't mind one of those large SUVs mainly because we go out in nature so often and we could use a bigger vehicle with better clearance.

As shiny, attractive and expensive as all of these cars are, I'd be entirely too paranoid to drive them into the City of St. Louis to be quite honest. Carhacking and auto theft is entirely too common. Why tempt the thugs? I guess if you have that kind of money, you can afford a replacement vehicle. They sure are nice to look at though! That purple car though !!!😁

I don't even think about car theft thugs! Makes me glad not to live in a city though! Jim bought a fancy Audi convertible, used, from a guy in Saint Louis. We drove that car on several great road trips! He sold it just before he died, knowing I would have no use for it without him.
