1930s Ford • Mojave Junkyard

1930sedan.jpg

This car looks like a mid-1930s Ford sedan similar to the cars Bonnie and Clyde liked to steal. Clyde Barrow even wrote a letter to Henry Ford thanking him for the V8 engine that helped with, "sustained speed and freedom from trouble!"

Read the letter from Clyde Barrow to Henry Ford here: Henry Ford Museum

It has nice lines in black and white.

I photographed the Ford with my Canon 5D camera and 70-200 mm lens.

In my words: it has a Dick Tracy style. Bonnie and Clyde were shot dead in one of these cars that were indeed very difficult to deal with shots. These styles are very cute but very heavy.

I like this style with short windows!

Funny before I saw you said it, I thought Bonnie and Clyde! Awesome!

Yes it has that gangsta look!

A very classic car. Must have been a king on the street in his golden days. But now sit quietly along with the other old iron.
