Mirage 2000 RIAT 2018 - by steve j huggett.jpg

The Mirage 2000 is a late 1970's jet, it's about to pull a hard turn with re-heat. As this airshow is run on a military airbase they get to fly close to the speed of sound, big noise :)

What I use

Nikon D7200.
Sigma 18-300m
Software Adobe Lightroom.
Taken by Steve J Huggett.

Location

RIAT 2018 RAF Fairford England UK

Leading edge slats open, he musta been doin a slow dirty pass before kickin' it!
Yet another jet we never see on this side of the world. Cool shot.

Never noticed that! These are near the end of life, but they put on a great display. I've seen some of the footage to the OshKosh that is one big airshow!
