U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton has warned countries and companies against buying crude oil from Venezuela, after the Latin American country’s Oil Minister Manuel Quevedo said during a surprise visit to India that Venezuela wants to sell more oil to the fast-growing Indian market.
In a tweet with a Bloomberg article on Venezuelan-Indian oil relations attached, Bolton wrote: “Nations and firms that support Maduro’s theft of Venezuelan resources will not be forgotten. The United States will continue to use all of its powers to preserve the Venezuelan people’s assets and we encourage all nations to work together to do the same.”
At the same time, the United States is also warning Venezuela's government to stop blocking the shipments being sent to Venezuela. The U.S. says it is supplies for the Venezuelan people. In the past, the U.S. has toppled any government that has not agreed or played ball with what it wants, in this case, the U.S. is after the oil. The U.S. has already tried to topple it through a coup that failed. Now they are saying a Military invasion is on the table, however, it has not happened yet and one possibility for that is that they are trying to ship in equipment and weapons hidden within these shipments of humanitarian aid.
Remember that China is heavily invested in Venezuela and Russia has White Swan nuclear bombers on Venezuelan soil. This is yet another contact point between the 3 super powers that can annihilate the world. World War 3 Nuclear war is approaching and only 1 has the power to save. Interesting developments. I can't see Russia and China letting go of their own interests in Venezuela, nor can i see them agreeing with the US on matters... Certainly one to watch.
