A centralized cryptocurrency is bad, but that's no big news.

Venezuela could literally start using a real, incorruptible, economically backed & pegged smart asset like bitUSD. Would fix most of their problems over night.

BitShares and EOS (to an extent) have the potential to disrupt and obsolete corrupt and rogue governments.
