Venezuela's paradox, the country of hope and dissapointment

in venezuela •  7 years ago

As many would know, at the moment Venezuela is going through one of the worst crises ever seen, the population has gone through various social and economic problems, until some time ago it seemed that we were close to a positive change, that after so much suffering, we saw a light of hope that enlightened us and encouraged us to move forward, however now the story is another...

Months ago

A few months ago we found ourselves in a social break point, the population in general shouted for a change, desperately sought a way out, and because it was a very large percentage of the national population, this gave us the illusion that this change could be possible, blindly followed different politicians who today ended up disappointing those people who put their faith on them.

With the passing of months of continues protests, the flame of that faith and hope did not seem to fade, regardless of the effort they applied to stop the rebellion, people continued on the streets in a movement that will transcend in the history of our country , as an act that was to mark the end of an era and the beginning of a new, the light on the tunnel seemed to be close, the nightmare seemed to be about to end. After not only repression but many other socioeconomic problems, people did not seem to stop protests, remained on the streets regardless of the consequences, with the motto "I prefer to be poor and free, to be slave and rich"
This ideal kept people inspired for months to go ahead and endure any blow that could be thrown by repression.

Current situation

Today the protests have ceased, people argue in silence, fear has overcome us, dissapointment has invaded us, those in which we bet our hopes, they failed us completely and we only remain in pain and agony for the situation that we live at the moment, problems have intensified, society has deteriorated and there seems to be no way out of all this madness and despair, emigrating has become the most viable option.

Being abandoned by those in whom we trusted that they could help us to get out of this, we put our hopes back into international aid, much of the population only speaks of
"That USA invades us to finish all this at once" without realizing all that is in between, sadly despair has clouded our judgment and our ability to understand, because being here does not seem to be output or possible change in the near future.

The country of goodbyes

Not seeing a close exit and a positive outlook for the country, many have simply opted to escape to other countries in a desperate attempt to seek tranquility and a better future, with the most immense pain that anyone can imagine to leave their families behind , friends, brothers, parents, who daily cram the airport corridors to say goodbye to the young people who only look for the best and seek to emerge, but these young people are cowards to flee our country? This topic generates a lot of controversy, my personal opinion is that not, on the contrary, to carry out this step and leave a family behind to look for an opportunity to emerge and eventually help them to come out too, requires bravery and courage.

Emigrating is not easy in any sense, not only for the monetary aspect, but the emotional ascpect too, depression is one of the most common factors that arise in Venezuelans who have emigrated, I would like to give a message to all of those who have been able to go out and find themselves struggling with the intention of getting ahead honestly and looking to help their family so that they also enjoy the tranquility and well-being that we all deserve, is a message from a Venezuelan guy whose goal is to help his family and progress , and that thanks to the destiny gave with this page and great tool that can make that possible.

Do not give up, all that effort will be worth it, do not listen to those who criticize you, always seek to fulfill your goal and your dream no matter what obstacle is presented.

With this I say goodbye steemit friends, and thank you very much for your attention.
