If you had $1.4 million USD worth of Venezuela currency saved up at the bank from 2016 , well you would just manage to buy a chicken with it now
The price of one chicken in venezuela now is 14 million bolivars... equivalent of $1.4 million USD in 2016.
That's what hyper inflation does to you!!!
3 years ago rate difference
1/09/2016 : 1 USD = 10 VEF
13/9/2019-: 1 USD = 248,519.9500 VEF
There are currently 7 countries going through currency crises .
And with another interest rate rising from the feds, unfortunately its looks unsustainable as debt has gone at the highest level.
Most people will choose to blame their governments about it.... but this is way above them.
More countries will follow as they are all connected with each other, and its sad to see how horrible this can get.
wow!!
