Two positions that divide the Colombian government about the treatment that should give to the Venezuela crisis, which has unleashed a exodus than more that one millions venezuelan to Colombia in the last years.
While a sector led by former President Álvaro Uribe is on favor to a military intervetion in Venezuela, the presidente Ivan Duque has reiterated that his goverment is far to support a military intervention in the neighbour country.
Francisco Santos, Colombia ambassasor in Washington, said that a military intervention can't be discard.
Santos said, that de Colombia Goverment "will not observe the situation passively" and that the regional actions that been taken until de moment "aren't enough."
After this statements, the president Duque reiterated that his goverment will remain focussed in pressing Maduro exit through the "diplomatic and multilateral channels".
With this declarations, Duque reafirm his posture for several months, when he explain that is not "sponsered" of a military invertention in Venezuela.
A military interrvention is a proposal of the former president Alvaro Uribe that he put on the table since more than one year. In august past year he said that this isn't coup to the militaries take the power.
"We ask the soldiers and cops that force the dictator to stand aside, call for elections and recover the democracy." said Alvaro Uribe.
