If you are a Venezuelan engineer the starting wage after graduation is 85 USD / month (with official exchange rate) or less than 8 USD / month (with street exchange rate)

In Venezuela, according to the Colegio de Ingenieros (Venezuelan Engineers Association?) the starting monthly wage is around 6,000,000 Bs. (Bolivares) which is 85 USD/month using government fixed exchange rate and 7.5 USD at the street exchange rate.

And if you have that wage, you have a good wage here in Venezuela.
