Receta - Arepas de Batata y avena

Solo los venezolanos sabemos cuanto amamos la arepa (y los tequeños), es una preparación típica para nuestros desayunos! Cada relleno nos hace un plato totalmente diferente! Pero... Qué hay de la masa? Aquí les presentamos una super receta de nuestra querida arepa pero con una masa especial, que aparte de deliciosa es mucho mas nutritiva.

Ingredientes:

  • Batatas rosadas (hervidas y sin piel)
  • 1 taza de Harina de maiz precocida
  • 1 taza de Avena en hojuelas
  • 1 cucharada de Linaza (molida)
  • 2 tazas de Agua
  • 1 cucharadita de Aceite de aguacate
  • Pizca de sal

Instrucciones:

  1. Coloque la harina de maíz, la avena y la linaza en un bol y mezcle.
  2. Agregue el agua junto con la sal y el aceite de aguacate, luego mezcle.
  3. Agregue las batatas (previamente hervidas) y amase bien.
  4. Cuando la masa este homogénea, haga bolitas con la masa y aplaste en forma de arepas.
  5. Cocine las arepas ya sea al horno, en la sartén o budare.... Como mas  te guste esta bien =)
