For me it was a huge hassle to get this wallet working properly, and I was able to finally get it done because of the information included in this video. I thought I'd share this for anyone else interested in keeping their Verge off the exchanges...

That saves a lot of trouble in terminal... Though my user library folder was hidden, but the github explanation gives a link on how to reveal it. I was trying to use the electrum-XVG and it wasn't working, took me a visit to your post to find out i was actually looking for the qt lol
