On July 23, 2017 around 9.00 a.m. ET, developers at Vertiaseum noticed a gradual attack; Veritas tokens were being funneled to an unknown wallet. Veritaseum is the latest ICO to suffer from a hack. Around US$4.5m worth of tokens has been stolen last night.
Soon after the team took steps to lock down the attack end. In all, the amount stolen from Veritaseum was very small in comparison to the tokens in cirtulation, according to CEO of Veritaseum Reggie Middleton. "I think he got .06 percent of the tokens. Most people missed the entire thing because they were asleep".
