Facebook new update will hurt lot of brands and will make advertising very expensive.
I don't get mark logic here by trying to prioritize personal accounts. How many personal accounts create engaging content on Facebook?
They should know not everyone loves to posts, some people just love to observe and know what is going on to other people in there vicinity. Some has not made a status update for the last five years but we have pages and groups creating meaningful content everyday that these observer engage with every hours or days.
I'm certain his strategy would not work and switch again because what's going to happen is that people would be force to run more ads if they want to reach people and once ads expensive, some people would not be able to afford it and Facebook would even become more boring because of some boring ads.
