srcI guess and have these superpowers this book goes back and forth between the past and the present and the president takes place 10 years after Victor and Eli come up with these ideas
and this thesis about these near-death experiences so in the present tense we follow more Victor and he has broken out of prison we know that he now hates Eli and is determined to catch up with him and enact revenge he ends up kind
of meeting a new cast of characters one person that he met in prison and then the next the character is a little girl that he kind of rescued and she kind of turns into their little sidekick they
turned into this really interesting crew of people so yeah like I said the present tense it's ten years later and Victor's main mission is finding Eli
and then it keeps going back to the past kind of explaining more what happened between Victor and Eli and how things turned out to lead to the
present I loved it I thought it was fascinating I loved how they two timelines were woven together it was complex and I will say a little confusing at first
I didn't totally understand who's who and like how they all met and what was happening but I definitely fully understood it by the end it just kind
of takes a little while to read a few chapters to really understand all the complexities but I loved the characters they were
so good this book delves into the whole idea of good versus evil and how evil people can think they're good and how good people can sometimes do evil things.
