Facts you May not Know about the Victoria Falls.
The Victoria Falls is thought to be the biggest water falls in the world and one of the seven natural wonders of the world. The local Tonga people call it Mosia-Tunya (the smoke that thunders). The Victoria Falls is found on the Zambezi River, which is the fourth largest river in Africa.
The falls stretch over 1.7 km wide and cascades on height of between 70 to 180 metres. The falls cascades about 550 litres of water. The noise of the falling water is heard about 40 km far. The falling waters rises to a height to about 400 metres. The rising water can be seen about 50 km away.
Victoria Falls is a real wonder of the world.
