Minecraft + Bitcoin = Bitquest! Probably one of the best Servers out there!

                                         BITQUEST: A Bitcoin Minecraft server

What it's all about;

Minecraft is a game where you dig, build and craft different kinds of blocks and tools within a large world of varying terrains. In the world the sun rises and sets as you go about your work, gathering materials and making stuff.. There is rain (as you can see) and the occasional lightning storm (We have A LOT on Bitquest), Animals that you can tame, farm or use for food and defensive purposes. Depending on which mode you’re playing in, you might also need to fight for your survival against hunger and enemies, Although that is pretty much the aim in bitquest as Bits (0.0002 bitcoins) are earned via killing Enemy mobs.  If you’re having a hard time understanding what the game's all about, it might help to think of it less as a game and more as a toy box. There aren't any preset goals or steps to take unless your in an adventure world - what others do with it is limited to their imaginations.

How the economy works;

So basically in bitquest players run about collecting and selling items for bits, On average it takes 1/200 mobs to earn 200 bits which are translated to 0.0002 of a bitcoin, Rewards work when players buy things from villager shops, those bits are then transferred into a loot wallet where it is based on a lottery, Throughout my own personal history on bitquest i've earned upwards of 2000 bits from killing monsters alone! To buy land it cost's 200 bits per chunk and that fair is put towards upkeep of the server and website cost. Each player is in turn their own bitcoin address, having all money and items saved to the blockchain so that hacking is rendered pretty much impossible, It has happened but the admin's are extremely helpful and will roll the server back in the event of anything being broken or stolen on a mass level, So your Bitcoins and things are always safe! Not to mention, Your items are never lost on death.

My Personal opinion of the Server;

So I've been with bitquest for around a month now, The people are fantastic, the admins are extrememly helpful when something goes wrong, Even if it was your fault (Such as getting into someones house and getting yourself stuck) although they can't actually break or do anything on your plots - The same as everyone else.. There are a few bugs, such as trapped chests being openable by anyone, on your plot or not.. However this comes in handy if you have others working for you and depositing items to you. Item frames are also bugged being breakable on your land, So it's safe to say keep them behind glass blocks.. Other than those small issues, the servers stable, has been up every time i've used it and the fact that bitcoins are accepted, means i have somewhere to spend them (For vanity purposes).. Overall this server would get an 8/10 from me especially as it's only in it's BETA stage and development continues.
