Scammers are all over the place these days. Every bit of technology we have, scammers are using them as an avenue to scam someone. Even on Steemit, there are scammers here too, trying to get you to click on a link and enter your keys.
My YouTube channel recently experienced a boost in views an subs. As a result I've seen all manner of scammers hitting my channel. From the comment section scammers with the fake comments mentioning a fake guru or the other, to the ones impersonating me and replying to my audience asking them to contact them via Whatapp or Telegram. They have even contacting me via email trying to socially engineer me into believing they're brands offering me deals. The whole scamming situation is just one big mess.
In this video I point out to my audience the type of scams that are being run and how to stay away from being scammed, at least on my channel. Be careful out there folks.
