I'm starting a new series here on my steem page, I'm going to call it Vintage Videos.
I have a couple of VHS tapes from 1990 that have a recording of 3 sets that were taped of the band that I was in back in 1990. A friend of ours did all the camera work for the recording that evening. He used 2 cameras, one was stationary, and the other was used for close up shots. Unfortunately, I don't have a usable copy of the close up video, I just have the fixed camera video.
I bought a digital transfer device to transfer the video tapes to digital and saved all the footage on my computer. I was then able to edit the video into manageable size files for uploading to youtube. I edited the raw footage into individual songs so that I could upload each song separately instead of one long video. These individual videos are what I will be presenting over the coming weeks.
The band I was in back in 1990 was a classic rock cover band, the band was named "The Intruderz". I was the bass player in the band and also sang lead vocals on about half the songs.
This is a cover of the song "Fire Down Below" by Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band. This was one of our first songs from the first set that we played on February 17, 1990, at a bar called "Joe Beez"
