Life wasn't generally simple for Jamie Foxx, the multitalented artist, entertainer, and Oscar-winning on-screen character.
Jamie Foxx was conceived Eric Marlon Bishop in 1967, in a little Texas town. When he was only 7 months old, his folks abandoned and worried less about him.
Jamie was left to be raised by his grandma, Estelle Talley, who in the long run embraced him and gave him a cherishing and supporting home.
Despite the fact that Estelle was a superb guardian — and Jamie's greatest supporter and number one fan — he grew up attempting to comprehend why his folks never connected with him.

Jamie says: connecting with his dad was the tough one

"Growing up, I would dependably go, 'Man… I'm a decent man.' I wasn't the child getting stuck in an unfortunate situation. I was quarterback on the secondary school football group. Furthermore, he just lived 28 miles away. So I generally said to myself, 'You know, I'm going to review him somewhat harder for that, since he could have attempted.'"
