Nice thought but Firefox appears to no longer support Java applets. I get the "Video format or MIME type is not supported" error. Not useful if I have to go over to Google's Chrome browser to watch DTube videos because of Google's YouTube censorship.

This happens to videos uploaded with unproper encoding. We still have a bit of work to do to make it more user friendly, sorry about that.
