Popping Balloons Filled With Water In Slow Motion | The CC-SLOW-MO-SHOW

in video •  6 years ago

How do balloons filled with water pop in slow motion? In the first episode of this series, we will use our high speed camera to capture this event at 5000 fps! As can be seen from the video, the popping itself is a relatively fast process (takes place within milliseconds) and the ball of water remains "standing" in the air for a moment. This wont last for long however, as the ball of water is gradually accelerated towards the ground due to gravity.
