HI STEEMIANS!

Today we want to show you something a bit unusual, in preparation of the film A Show for Myself that we introduced earlier this week.

This is an insight in the life of the protagonist, Ansko Pitkänen.

I filmed and edited this showreel of a professional stuntwoman, who features in major films in Hollywood, for Warner Bros, big Viking sagas and epic historical movies. She never gets to play key roles, but you'll find her often in the background kicking ass and riding horses no-hands with a shield and a lance.

We are very exited to show you the whole film this weekend. It features 6 wonderful women, each of them with a unique personal background, scraping a living in the most competitive industry in the world. Some are stuntwomen, some are comedians, dancers, and cabaret artists. They all have a second job to get by in London.

Hey @boycharlieplays she needs to have so many different skills, like horse riding, swimming, martial arts etc in order to get the professional licence as stuntwoman..she is 40, you can still do it!

She is just so amazing, wish I had half of those skills. She must be dedicating so much of her time in her practices. Truly a woman of strength and power, but I am sure she would not have that recognition as she is always behind the scenes.

Wow... kraftvoll, dynamisch und absolut hot. Was ist das für eine Sportart? Ich selbst mache Krav Maga und habe Ähnlichkeiten bei ein paar Techniken gesehen.

Hi @derbesserwisser - Stunt Leute haben ja häufig eine sehr gemischte Ausbildung. Das kann gut sein, dass auch Krav Maga Teil ihres Trainings war. Oder es ist einfach ihr Finnisches Blut :-D

Sie könnte wahrscheinlich jeden Mann vermöbeln, allerdings wäre sie sicher dabei - wenn es um die Sichtbarkeit von Frauenrechten (wie bei Nein-heisst-Nein) geht.
