Hello: it's nice to see a fellow chess lover! :) The danish opening is not really seen much anymore at top levels and lower ones. I played against as black when I was younger. My opponent was rated 300 points higher than me and knew the opening better. I can say that I have never seen the opening since then. It's probably because it is a very dubious opening giving up three pawns, although I can kind of draw a parallel to the smith morra gambit which is similar to the danish gambit except black respands pawn to c5 instead of e5. I'd say it's probably fun to try in blitz though if you know more theory than your opponent.
