In this video, I do a side to side comparison of the video quality coming from an iPhone 7plus (that has a REALLY great camera, just a step down from the 8 and the X) vs the Canon EOS M6 camera I just purchased specifically to make my DTube Videos. I also change up between audio as well so you can hear the difference between the phone mic (which is actually closer to me in this case so it should theoretically pick up better sound) and the RODE Micro Shotgun. I'm considering putting the windscreen in order to cut out the ambient noise while in the car. I'll try it in the next video.
