Gone are the days when us fantasy geeks were small potatoes. We're a market force now. HBO figured this out and gave us a big-money fantasy show called Game of Thrones - which we've managed to make the #3 rated show on television.
It has a budget of about $10 million per episode, so that makes a lot of things possible that weren't before. Including the most epic dragon in battle that I've ever seen. Feast your eyes upon this full battle "The Loot Train Attack" from Season 7 Episode 4 "The Spoils of War":

Yeah that was best episode of Game of Thrones for sure, I probably watched it three times already.

It's top three for sure. My favorite episode is still 2X7 "A Man Without Honor" but this one comes close.

Fantastic season. After last season, I had become worried that eclipsing the written material had killed what I love about this show. I'm not worried about that anymore. I'm still pining for the Winds of Winter though.
