there are plenty of technical people on steemit who also have a brain for political stuff.
in one of your posts you could explain in detail how to setup an IPFS node and we'll see who's capable. then the community may decide to support some of the technically capable also depending on their reputation and political stances.
Non-technical witnesses should hire techies if they want to keep their spot. with the proliferation of projects on the steem blockchain technical knowledge is vital.

This is part of the plan. I want to give tools and easier way for people to do it thought. Security is a concern and I don't want people having problems because they misconfigure something. @nannal is a tech guy and managed to setup things so that there is no problem, while I'm sure a lot of people would rush it, open too many things in their firewall or ipfs node config and end up having problems.
