Today we spend one day in Speyer, one of the oldest cities in Germany. Already in 1990 Speyer celebrated its 2000th anniversary. We take a look around the city center, stop by at the historical Altpörtel the old city gate and of course visit the famous Speyer Cathedral. Actually this city has a lot more to offer than that and is certainly worth a visit.

Yeah most of the time we just don’t have enough time to see what the city has to offer completely. Still, what you have captured already shows it is an interesting city to visit.

It's so nice to finally see Speyer! I've seen it from the highway (on the way to the Netherlands) so often but I've never managed to actually go there! It does look like I've expected. I will have to go there one day too!
