In our third and for now last one day in episode we visit Ulm, a city in the southern part of Germany situated at the river Danube. Our first stop was the Ulmer Münster, a church in the center of the city with the highest church tower in world (161,5m). On a little side note, Albert Einstein was born in Ulm. After we climbed up the church tower were we enjoyed the amazing view over the city and the region we found out by coincidence that there was a festival in town this day. While we were on the tower we noticed a little parade on the market square and asked some one next to us if they know what was going on. They told us that there is this festival called Fischerstechen and that it only takes place every four years. I guess we have chosen the right day to visit the city. After a little chat we went back down, grabbed some food and went to the old city walls from were you have a great view on the river to witness the activities. It was an awesome day and we were lucky to pick exactly this weekend to visit the city.
