I'm More Excited for Thor Ragnarok than Spiderman Homecoming, How about You?

So there have been some really good movies, so far this year my favorite has been Logan.

It just didn't feel like a superhero movie. It was a really good movie without being about the Wolverine. It was about Logan blah, blah, blah, you have probably heard people rave over this movie all year and you are probably sick of hearing about it.

But, there is always the excitement of the next big movie no matter how amazing the last big one was. The next big one that everyone is talking about is Spiderman Homecoming.

Don't misunderstand, I'm super excited, but I'm less excited for Spiderman Homecoming with how amazing Tom Holland was in Civil War. It is hard to think this movie could be bad where as Thor Ragnarok has me super excited.

This movie looks really good. The last two movies in this series were not bad they just weren't memorable, can you even remember the plot of them? Let me refresh you're memory and mine. The first was about a young brash Thor that tried to start a war with their ancient enemies, the Frost giants. He did this thinking that was what he needed to prove his worthiness as the heir to the throne. He was then banished by his father from Asgard to earth. His time on earth humbled him and made him see that he wasn't even close to being worthy of the title of king yet. Now for the second one, I honestly don't remember the full plot. I remember that I liked it but it was really forgettable. Now if you were to ask me what I know about Thor Ragnarok I would instantly say Thor and Hulk fight. Boom sold me a ticket. In short I'm hoping this one is more memorable than the last two and I think they realized this and are making a point to make this one awesome. That is why I'm more excited for Thor than Spiderman.

Thank you for reading and I would love to hear you're opinions in the comments.

Have a nice day

What???? Do you even watch bro? WonderWoman best so far this year! Spider-Man is definitely the best to come. Amazing how you are so confused. LOL...I'm just teasing. To each their own. (but I'm right)

Lol, you had me there for a second. You are right Wonderwoman was great.

Logan seemed too force. It seemed like they went back after deadpools success and purposely added random boobs, cuss words, and extra splatter just to get a rated R to make news.

I can see that. Especially the boobs part, but the violence was rated R and that was the best in the series in my opinion i think they wanted to fill it with as much R rated stuff as possible probably because of Deadpool.

can you even remember the plot of them?

Nope...mainly because the first one had no plot. haha

I can always count on you to have an opinion about a movie!

I am excited about both Spiderman and Thor.

Im a huge spider-fan, Ive have about a hundred of spiderman comics and this new movie is looking so bland to me, From the trailers I think They should rename it Spiderman: the Iron Man's Bitch, because Tony Stark owns him. Thats just not what I want to see. Thor Rangnarok looks good and I havent seen the frirst 2 Thors but this one looks more like Guardians and I loved Guadians 1&2

So many awesome movies coming out this year! I'm also very excited about the new Thor movie. Logan was a good one to watch, but also a bit hard to see the superheroes I grew up with like this.

That is what made Logan so great though it was so fresh and different not that its bad to have more of the Xmen as they are though

Hi Marvel fan, nice to meet you. It should be mentioned that Thor Ragnarok is directed by Taika Watiti who is created the best movie in 2016 inmy opnion, Hunt for the Wilderpeople. He is a brilliantly funny person. Maybe you remember Flight of the Conchords? That was this weirdly funny duo from New Zealand who made it big. Marvel is giving him tons of freedom to shape the movie to his liking and he does as you can see in this funny short:

My expectations for this movie are that it will be the best Thor so far. You are right, the first one was ok and the second one totally forgettable. This one will be epic, partly because of the Planet Hulk storyline weaved into it, also because of the Grandmaster appearing, which is important for the Thanos storyline m(at least in the comics, let's see how it plays out in the movie) and mybe the reveal of the last infinity stone (might instead happen in Black Panther).

I have a daily series on Steemit about how to remember names and I cover all MCU actors. Check it out if you like.

Thank you for the positive comment and i will check that out

I agree locia #laughingoutcauseiagree

Logan was ok. I was a bit dissappointed at the end. Not cause I didnt like the ending but it seemed so effortless, loveless, hasty made which I think you could also notice by Hugh's acting... besides that... ok. I was bored tbh

I will also watch both, but yea, Thor! Looking forward to being convinced by Chris's performance

he'll smash...

and ofc Hulk.
I think Hulk finally arrived as a animated character in the Avengers and it's time he had this kind of spotlight with a cool interesting story.

The plot looks dope too. I think it will have lots of cool yea man action with a different kind of energy than we saw in the first two

Yeah super excited for this movie.

I think I'll go to the cinema and watch them both, even if they are not my favorite characters. I don't really like Chris Hemsworth as an actor, I only appreciated him in Ron Howard's Rush. Bou I don't know Tom Holland, so I don't know what to think about these two movies...

I would recommend to go see these movies if you find any enjoyment in superhero movies
