Zora's aging is ridiculous!

So if you've played Ocarina of time, you probably met the Zoras. Water creatures, who have a tsundere princess, Ruto, that after having you carry her around the dungeon and save her, give you the zora sapphire, saying that she was proposing to you. You sleep for 7 years, and obviously, your body changes from kid to adult, and so does Ruto. All ok right? normal and logical. Changing from this

to.... this

And that's ok, since its normal to grow that way. And yet, we then look to the newest incarnation of the Zoras in breath of the wild and I find a weird inconsistency.

So, the zora you interact the Sidon, the prince (Yes, Mipha is the one you see the most, but you only actually talk and hear her) and he says that he actually remembers you from... a 100 years ago. When he was a tiny kid... like seriously child zoras are like, around links waist, and links pretty petit himself.

And when we se sidon 100 years later...

He's HUGE. Or maybe not so much... Well, he is, he is like, twice and a half times taller than Link. It just gets me a bit, how old are the kings if a hundred years old zora looks and acts so young, and also, how old was ruto? She seemed to aged like a normal hylean, and even if zoras have a really long lifespan, she grew specially quick.

So Sidon really makes me confused! And so does Mipha! She says she's Links childhood friend, but did she met Link as a child, or where they both childrem when they met? Its really confusing and strange! It doesn't seem to have any logical explanation as to why Ruto goes from child to young adult so fast, then Sidon also goes from child to another huge mountain for Link to climb, and yet Mipha around Link's age(probably), and seems to have aged as a hylean would. If anyone can figure out how it works, please tell me
