We both were introduced to video games since we were children, but him being an American was playing more on PlayStation and I grew from Nintendo into PC gaming, but then when we met he bought me a PS3 and we started playing together over the Internet, good alternative to chatting, which of course you can still do while playing together haha.
Now however, we just mainly watch each other play :D

We met a long time ago, actually it happened 10 years ago this year, I was learning English and wanted to meet some native English speakers to practice my skills. At the time ICQ was super popular, I am not sure if you're familiar with it or not, but it is sort of like Windows Messenger, you can chat on it and search for people in the world by country, or name, or age, or their ICQ number. So I searched for people in the US and messaged him because he was appearing to be "online" and we started chatting, made friends and here we are today :D would you look at that!

Wow! Gotta be thankful for that icq! I do know it and used it very frequently back in the days. The world is quite an amazing place these days and we are quite lucky to be born at such an amazing time in human history where we can connect with people all over the world. We take it for granted now but internet hasnt been around very long at all

For sure, I don't think that technology was evolving that rapid pre-Internet days. It is crazy, sometimes when I think about the future it makes me very sad that I'm gonna die (I know it is slightly off topic) but I really really wanna be there to witness what the future has in store for us haha
