Hey there everyone, welcome to my review of the Nintendo Classic Mini. The Mini Nintendo released last fall and everybody who grew up playing Nintendo games was excited to get their hands on one. It comes with thirty games programmed onto it and no cartridge slot for actual Nintendo cartridges, so you're limited to the thirty games it comes with. Unfortunately Nintendo didn't expect such a high demand for these and they were very hard to find, due to a shortage of supply. I was lucky enough to get one and have been playing it for months now. I still have no idea why Nintendo didn't make millions of these things, it seems like a no-brainer. They left a lot of money on the table here not being able to keep up with demand, and then they just discontinued them.

Now Nintendo has announced the Super Nintendo Mini. I will do my best to pick one of those up, hopefully they learned their lesson from the previous supply fiasco and will make a ton of them. We shall see, it's Nintendo and they're infamous for not keeping up with the demand for their products. The game lineup looks great though and they would make great gifts for anyone into video games, if you can find one.

Back to the original Nintendo Classic Mini. This thing is programmed with thirty "classic" games. Some of them are must haves like, the first three Mario games, the first two Zelda games, the first two Castlevania games, Mike Tysons Punch Out, Metroid, Ninja Gaiden, and Mega Man 2. But there are quite a few games on there that I don't consider classics at all, some I don't even remember playing when I was a kid, and there are some good games that are nowhere to be found on here. For the sixty dollar price tag though it's a good deal, my main complaint is the fact that most people couldn't find one and probably never will, and the incredibly short controller wire. It's about two feet long which is just ridiculous, I mean come on Nintendo what are you doing. So if you can find one and the selection of games interests you it's worth it, I'm glad I got one and play it all the time. Fingers crossed the Super Nintendo Mini will be easier to get, as I will certainly pick one up. My grade for the Nintendo Mini Classic is..
