This day in Japan Akari Warriors II : Victory Road
came out in 1988 for the NES.

In Japan it was originally names Dogosoken and came out in October of 1986 until its later ports.

The Arcade manufacturer for the US versions of SNK's release was called Tradewest.
Tradewest was founded in 1985 by Leland Cook.

Victory Road was among some of the last arcades they produced
before leaving the Coin-Op market and focusing on strictly console gaming.
