The Nintendo Switch 2 has finally been announced, but Nintendo's reveal trailer didn't confirm a release date for the console beyond sometime in 2025. However, some believe they've worked out when the system may be released, and it might not be until June.
Nintendo also announced a "Switch 2 Experience" event where fans can try the console, kicking off on April 4 (just after the April 2 Nintendo Direct) and wrapping up on June 1 in Seoul. Given that, people are theorizing that Nintendo wouldn't launch the Switch 2 until later in June. There are also Switch 2 Experience events for Hong Kong and Taipei with dates to be announced later.
A June launch for the Switch 2 is not confirmed, however. Nintendo's announcement of the Switch 2 Experience never says that fans attending the event get to play the system before it launches, though that is the expectation.
