I HAVE A CURIOUS DREAM

Martin Luther King

Martin Luther King, on August 28, 1963 proclaimed his most famous speech "I have a dream", in reference to his desire for a future myrriform in which all people, without distinction of their skin color, could coexist harmoniously, in freedom, in peace and as equals. This speech is considered one of the best in history, hailed as an excellent rhetoric, which appeals to iconic sources of the Bible and focuses on civil rights and freedom for all human beings.

Martin Luther King, as a good Pastor, focuses on the "Sons of God" and makes a series of key Biblical quotations, among which are: "I dream that one day the valleys will be summits" (Isaiah 40:4) and "the justice roll like water and righteousness like a powerful current." (Amos 5:24). In the same way, he gives several messages of hope, such as: "the glory of God will be revealed" and "the suffering that is not deserved is emancipatory"; to close his speech with: "Now is the time" and "Free at last! Thank God Almighty! We are free at last!"

My Curious Dream

Keeping the distances between the time lived by Martin Luther King and his type of emancipatory struggle for equality among human beings; For example, in Venezuela, similar speeches and struggles are currently required; because the union of all Venezuelans is needed without distinction of any kind, nor dissociated divisionist fanaticisms.

I mean, I really have a curious dream for Venezuela mainly, Latin America in particular and in general for the entire World, which I can state by items:

.- I dream that in the near future all Citizens will say GOOD BYE TO FANATISM AND DIVISIONISM, and we can unite in concord, without distinction of skin color, race, nationality, social position, religious belief or political doctrine; because we can all coexist harmoniously, in freedom, in peace and as equals.

.- I dream that Egoism and Personalistic Elementalism are over; Therefore all human beings focus their raison d'etre towards Honesty and altruism, with high values and principles of morals, ethics, good habits and without absurd liveliness.

.- I dream that crime, corruption and vices disappear from the face of the Earth.

.- Dream of a Real Democracy, where the rulers are elected by a real majority based on a percentage higher than 90% of the population; because the simple winner does not take everything, and at least the first three places are winners and work in unity for the progress of the country or the locality where they are elected, for example: the winner is the President and the places that follow him they are first and second vice-presidents; and between them they add approximately 90% of the votes.

.- I dream of the authentic disappearance of mediocrity, ignorance, poverty and marginality, with a more just and equitable distribution of wealth.

.- Dream of the elimination or disappearance of wars and fratricidal fights as an alterative solution to conflicts.

.- I dream of utopian dreams of healthy concord come true, to evolve as more humanistic and spiritual human beings, and less materialistic.

.- I dream that all these dreams are fulfilled and that both in Venezuela, in Latin America and throughout the Planet Earth, Peace and real understanding arrive as a precious and illuminated dawn of freedom, harmony and progress to end this long and dark night of tyranny, captivity, anxiety, war, crisis and poverty.
