Venezuela a Paradise of Curiosities
Remembering my travels throughout Venezuela and reviewing the data and images, I have been able to summarize a few curiosities of my Beautiful Country:
.- Geostrategically located in the Caribbean Sea, being an anticyclonic zone to divert almost any hurricane.
.- It is one of the geographical areas with the greatest biodiversity in the world.
.- In general, the climate is pleasant and very varied, from areas covered by snow to very hot regions; with great diversity: humid, arid, semi-arid, moor, plains, perpetual snow, tropical desert, forest, savanna, rivers and marine coasts.
.- It has the highest waterfall in the world, called Angel Falls or Kerepakupai Vena.
.- It has one of the highest geographical features in the world, named Pico Bolívar.
.- It generates one of the most impressive natural weather phenomena with numerous electrical storms, known as Catatumbo Lightning, and recognized as the highest concentration of lightning in a specific area in the world.
.- Contains one of the largest reserves of water on the planet Earth, being crossed by one of the largest bodies of water in the world: the Orinoco River.
.- Venezuela is one of the largest oil exporters in the world, with the world's largest proved reserves of oil and natural gas.
.- Lake Maracaibo is positioned among the largest in the world.
.- It has a series of caves famous for their beauty and unique formations of stalagmites and stalactites; among those that stand out: the Cueva del Guácharo and the Phantom Cave (Cavern Charles Brewer, one of the largest quartzite deposits in the world).
.- It has at least three national parks of the largest in the world: Parima-Tapirapeco National Park, Canaima National Park and Mochima National Park.
.- It is recognized worldwide for having the most beautiful women on the planet, obtaining hundreds of crowns of how much competition they participate and being the only country in the world to have won a crown of world beauty in consecutive years.
.- One of the best cocoas in the world (Theobroma Cacao) is harvested.
.- We Venezuelans are privileged to be able to enjoy, and without traveling, great distances, rivers, beaches, mountains, dunes, parks, snow, cold and heat.
.- We have a special land for agriculture and livestock of almost any type and a subsoil of the richest in the world, with diamonds and other precious stones, pearls, oil, gas, iron, bauxite, gold, platinum, palladium, silver, nickel, cadmium, aluminum, copper, zinc, vanadium, coltan, quartz, silica, lithium, uranium, among many others.
But, Interestingly, we are almost impoverished, in debt and suffering one of the worst socio-economic and moral crises in its history. IRONIC!
