Finally after years of trying to coordinate our crazy freelance schedules my mate and I did the Nam.
We started our crazy adventure in Ho Chi Minh with no plan or what we where walking into. Our biggest fail...do not book a hotel smack bang in the middle of Bui Vien when all you want is a shower and a good nights sleep after a 26 hour flight. It’s a pretty interesting a spot if you’re looking for a crazy night out but that was nooottt our vibe on arrival.
We woke up the next morning ready to go and explore the crazy city and as a joke decided to see if we could uber to a district we found on tripadvisor. So there we stood in the manic street confused by the little bikes circling the map but called one to our hotel anyway. The best accidental discovery ever, we uber moto’ed to every corner of the city (occasionally thinking we where gonna die) but saw so many amazing things just because it was so easy and quick to get around.
Getting back to Cape Town was a sad story...back to the Toyota Corolla I go.
