Variety Stream - Back on the ARK!

More Variety streaming today, but there's a good chance that I may stick to ARK tonight. It's Throwback Thursday, but I could call it a throwback given that I haven't played ARK in forever. I've stated before that I am seeking a game that I can play for a long time. Besides the tedium of having to start over on ARK yet again, I still enjoy the preliminary grind. I could honestly say that ARK is my favorite game and I just can't find a better one these days. The Division 2 is fun, for the most part, and I do plan on playing more Division but it's very, very repetitive.

While ARK is essentially repetitive because I have built a base and tamed a trike many times, every time it is a unique and different experience. Different setting, maybe a different map, or maybe even a different area on the map. Point being that playing ARK is always a unique experience with unknown dangers lurking everywhere. When will I get attacked? Will raptors come and kill my unconscious tame? Well, the answer is usually yes, but always at the worst time and it still provides a unique experience!

Just taking it casually with no real goals set right now. I've already gotten started but there's plenty more to do as this is one game that has so much content it could literally take more than 5000 hours to experience it all.

Certainly not sure if I can just grind ARK all day every day, but I've been wanting to play for a while! Will be playing with friends on a private 2x all server. Can't make it too easy! I can say that if/when we decide to stop playing again, I will be starting a single player mode of ARK so that I can have something where I won't lose progression if I stop playing.

What season are we in? The SM Website once told me...literally once. Can't find that info anymore.

There may be some Steem Monsters battles during downtimes in game, I would like to try keep up on my dailies and I missed yesterday already! So many games, so little time!
