Also, as we are almost all new Steemit users, our power is very low and our upvotes don't bring many rewards. It should improve with time or if we buy some Steemit coins.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
