This is a Kriegsmarine 7x50 binoculars from Huet Paris from ww2, 1939. The binoculars has serial nr. 1314. For this age has the binoculars a good used condition. The french company Huet Paris is well known for the manufacturing of fine quality military optics at first and second world war. The binoculars with french inscription was made for the french air force and the navy (milliemes, left side). In June 1940, France was occupied by german troops. They recognized the highly qualified
and powerful optics and recruited the company Huet for making these binoculars for
the german army (Wehrmacht).
Instead of "milliemes" on the left side it was made with "Dienstglas" or "D. F. Artl" for the german troops.
At right tube you have a reticle.
The binoculars was already filled with gas at this time.
You can see at the two soldered valves at the bottom of the prism.
