Beautiful Girl In The Looking Glass, Wearing Vintage Style.

What do you get when you take a beautiful young woman with alabaster skin and platinum blonde hair, and give her two vintage pieces, from two different decades, both in a barely-there nude? A vision of grace, and original style, that's what.

I found the sleeveless, blush-toned, one-piece jumpsuit, that looks like a formal gown, while thrifting. It was tucked in amongst the plethora of princess ruffled wedding dress. I was immediately drawn the the metallic gold thread that is woven into the bodice. It was only when I brought it home to hand wash in my bathtub, that I noticed the layers of chiffon was not a skirt, but rather a 1960's jumpsuit. I had struck Vintage Gold!

About a month later, I found the funky, 1970's wool felt hat, in pristine condition at an estate sale. It was a bit more than I would have liked to pay, but never had I seen a hat such as this. It was like a tam, beret and paperboy hat rolled into one. And to find such a light colored hat, in such clean condition was remarkable. I knew I would eventually find the perfect person for it.

Well when this beautiful young woman came to my studio shop, to pick out some new clothes for her upcoming fashion trip to New York City, both her and I agreed, this was a must-have combination, that was worthy of her sojourn in to world of all things hip, in NYC.
