Check out this old IBM ‘clone’

in vintage •  6 years ago

Hey check out this old "Clone" computer that was brought in for recycle today!! I've not gotten to fully find out what it is exactly yet but i'll get more into that tomorrow! BUT, this thing still turns on and works!! It has a word processor and a couple games preinstalled! This is all running on dos and the latest date I saw on the bios was 1986! It's definitely pre-windows and even has a 5 1/4 floppy drive!

When was the last time you saw a turbo button?

This is for sure an IBM "Clone"!! The sticker on the back says Clone Dallas Texas, but I can't seem to find much information on this company!

They sure don't make computers like they used to! This HUGE drive is probably only 20-30Mb!

I'll tear more into this thing tomorrow and it'll be listed on ebay shortly! What do you think its worth?! Vintage Computers are becoming more and more desirable these days!

If it sells, I wouldn't think it would be worth that much. Maybe $50. Maybe more though, considering it's a clone that actually says Clone. That's gotta be unique.

That's what I thought about the 233mhz windows 95 machine i sold for $200 last week! Yeah i've never ever ever seen this brand name before!

Nice! I guess I should probably go ahead and sell the old as hell Macs I have in my closet.

Cool! I'd guess the HHD is even less than 20MB

Looked it up and it is only 20mb!

wow i love old piece of tech. I also have one old pc of 90's.
